Vector Electrolysis Hair Removal Review
Ginny Rowlands's Reviews
If you’re like me and determined to rid yourself permanently of all unwanted body hair, then Electrolysis hair removal is your answer.
Why do I swear by this method?
Electrolysis is the only hair remover system approved by the FDA for the permanent removal of hair and since it has been performed successfully for over 125 years, it easily has the best track record for success versus any other method. I have pale skin and dark hair which makes me eligible for laser treatment and did have some work done on my arms six years ago, but if I have to choose I’d go with Electrolysis any day of the week. Why? It’s simple – Electrolysis can guarantee permanent body hair removal while laser treatment can’t.
Electrolysis Hair Removal At Home: A Short Review Of The Facts
Electrolysis causes permanent destruction of the hair follicle at its root and in the past, the only way to get it done was to drag yourself, your credit card and your mortgage off to a professional salon and drop thousands of dollars on treatments. The average number of sessions you need to clear just one area of the body ranges from 20 – 30 it is quite normal for someone to fork out a hefty $10 000 just for their legs!
But Electrolysis does work so for many years, myself and my partner sacrificed countless holidays and the decoration of our house so I could have the hard cash. Was it worth it? At the time…yes, as my hair problems were pretty dire.
Today however, there are products out there which provide Electrolysis hair removal at home which you can administer yourself, for a fraction of the cost of professional treatments and all in your own time and the comfort of a place of your own choosing.
“Sounds almost too good to be true doesn’t it?”
Well, it is. Most of these kits either need a professional license to use, are too technical or fiddly for the average person to operate or just don’t darn work! I am 100% committed to permanent hair removal. You have to be if you are going to pursue Electrolysis as a treatment and since these early days of home kits, I have tested and continue to test every product which has come on the market.
I have finally settled on the only FDA approved home Electrolysis kit which in my mind, offers the same results as as professional salon based Electrolysis, at a fraction of the cost in a very user friendly manner. Please raise your hands for the Vector Electrolysis Hair Removal System.
Rave Reviews: The Vector Is The Only Truly User Friendly Home Electrolysis Kit
The biggest problem most people have with Electrolysis at home kits is the difficulties they face when using the electrolysis needle. This needs to be inserted into each individual hair follicle and as you can imagine, is a fairly tricky and lengthy process even for people with steady hands.
In fact, most manufactures require you to have a professional license before you’re able to purchase a home kit with an accompanying needle which for the majority of us, takes us straight back to the salon.
The Vector solves this problem by replacing the needle with a set of galvanic tweezers which you use to the grasp each hair and send an electric current down into the hair follicle causing it’s destruction. Hurray!
Electrolysis hair removal is not for the impatient. If you’re after a quick fix solution then check out Ally’s NO NO Hair Removal Reviews. Not enough Vector electrolysis reviews mention that permanent hair removal is a process which requires time, determination and composure to complete and using the Vector is no different. Even though I knew this, I must admit that at first I found the process of grabbing each individual hair a little frustrating. In retrospect, this was because I had already been through this countless times before and that this stage, had no idea what the Vector was truly capable of.
However, by the second day I had gotten into the swing of things and quickly found the tweezers much more manageable than all the other gizmos I had toiled with before.
The Vector even allows you to accurately treat areas such as the T-zone and eyebrows which require pinpoint precision. This means that providing you can reach it, with your hands no area of your body is out of bounds.
The Vector Is Not Pain Free, But Painless
Electrolysis hair removal has a reputation for being a treatment which is not for the faint hearted. This is true and unless you have nerves of steel, most people find professional treatments akin to being prodded with tiny red hot pokers. Not pleasant.
However, no pain no gain right and I began my first treatment with the Vector fully prepared for what was to come and maybe worse.
I was shocked at the result although in retrospect it made sense. Because the tweezers never enter the follicle and only ‘tweeze’ the hair along with a short zap of electricity, the feeling is very similar to the tingling sensation you get when you use normal tweezers.
In fact, it is this very sensation which tells you it’s working and is much, much more bearable that anything I’ve experienced in the salon.
There are even different power settings for varying levels of comfort which helps people who have never had an treatments before slowly get used to the sensation.
Is it completely pain free? No, as you should always should have some kind of response, even if the sensation is tiny.
Is it painless? Yes.
The Vector Is A Permanent Hair Remover System For Everyone Who Wants it
Unlike laser hair removal, the Vector Electrolysis Hair Removal System works on all skin and hair types. This includes all you folks who were too dark skinned to get laser or IPL removal or have white, red, blonde, grey or ginger hair. Welcome to the club!
Moreover, I know from personal experience that the Vector is able to remove even the coarsest of hair. For weeks I wondered why my machine kept on disappearing just before breakfast. Then one morning I discovered my partner behind a door he’d forgotten to lock at work on his face and neck.
He has a heavy beard and had been using it to cut down on his facial growth to get a cleaner look when shaving! After everything he gave up for my professional treatments, I was just pleased to be able to give a little back!
The Vector Really Does Remove Hair Permanently
In the end, the success or failure of the Vector comes down to one single factor which is ultimately the focus of this Vector electrolysis review:
Does it really remove hair permanently?
Hard core hair removal experts say the only true test for permanency is the whether the treated areas of your body remain hairless 6 months after treatment has finished.
It has now been nearly 18 months since I completed my treatment cycles on my arms and 14 months since I finished my face (my legs don’t count as I have had salon based treatments on them before I used the Vector) and I don’t think I truly ever believed I would be able to say the following words, “I’M STILL HAIR FREE!!’
The stats back me up. Only 7 – 10% of people complain of regrowth and most of those have just not caught the hair in the right growth phase or have not discovered how to use the machine properly.
Yes, the process does take a bit of getting used to and the treatments do take a long time. When treating larger areas such as your legs, you may want to construct your own weekly timetable and you should not underestimate the amount of patience and determination you will need. Practice is key. Electrolysis is not an overnight solution to unwanted hair. However, as with anything where the prize is great, you have to put in the effort to match.
Ultimately, you have to ask yourself the question, “am I will to put in the work to reap the rewards?” If not, and you are looking for faster results, then there are products out there which do offer long term results although they don’t guarantee permanency. However, if you are truly committed to permanent hair removal, then the Vector Electrolysis Hair Removal System is for you.
